Do you want to apply for Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana in Goa? The government of Goa has launched a new health insurance scheme ‘Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana‘. Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana provides an insurance cover of Rs. 2.5 Lakh for a family of up to 3 members and an insurance cover of Rs.4 Lakh for a family more than 4 members. Goa government will pay the annual installment of the insurance premium which is Rs.3, 206/- per family to the insurance company. This scheme provides health insurance coverage for the entire resident population of Goa who is residing in Goa for five years and more. The main objective of this scheme is to provide a good quality medical care, treatment for diseases, hospitalization, and surgery through Government and private hospitals.

Procedure to apply for Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana:

The following is the procedure to apply for Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana in Goa

  • The government of Goa has organized enrollment centers all over the state for Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana
  • Visit the nearest enrollment center for registration
  • You have to pay a nominal registration fee to apply for this scheme
  • The application fee for a family of 3 members is 200 INR
  • And for a family of 4 or above is 300 INR
  • After the successful enrolment, the applicants will be given a smart card which is known as Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana smart card
  • The smart card is used for cashless treatment at the empaneled hospitals

  • Residence Proof such as Passport/Residence Certificate (5 years residence in Goa state)/Voter ID/Driving License
